Ismail's Restaurant – The closest spot to the Oasis, located right on the beach on the Batumi side. Despite the fancy name “restaurant,” it’s a place simple and unpretentious — but absolutely delicious! Some guests come to stay with us just to eat at Ismail’s.
Margaliti — The best café in Chakvi. Great for both lunch and banquets. Tasty and affordable.
Champion — Another café within walking distance from Dreamland Oasis. Classic Georgian cuisine. Perfect for lunch and relaxing in the eucalyptus shade after the sea.
Leoville — A new, stylish café with excellent pastries. Don’t miss the khachapuri with blue cheese!
Pirosmani — A top-notch Georgian restaurant! Number one for price and quality. For a relaxed vibe, head to the courtyard. If you’re in the mood for a lively Georgian atmosphere with songs and dancing, sit in the front hall. The pork kebab in pomegranate sauce is amazing! Be sure to leave some space for dessert (we get it — it’s tough), but trust us: the apple tart with ice cream is totally worth it!
Tavaduri — Easy to find at the poetic Batumi crossroads of Pushkin and Lermontov streets. Tavaduri known for the best khinkali in town. We recommend a table on the balcony — slightly noisy, but very authentic.
Laguna — A cozy basement tavern with the smell of fresh pastries, grilled meat, Georgian music, wine, and laughter. Delicious and budget-friendly. Ordering Adjarian khachapuri? Ask for it “without dough” — locals know this means less crust, more filling — you’ll look like a local expert!.
Luca Polare — Delicious ice cream. Probably the best in Batumi. A word of warning: if you're with kids, you might have trouble pulling them away!
Istanbul — Batumi boasts an entire street dedicated to Turkish street food, and this is one of the top spots. Affordable, authentic, and consistently high quality.
BK — Once a bookstore, now a trendy literary café. Cozy vibe, great pizza, and excellent coffee — perfect for a relaxed break.
Restaurant Fanfan — A bit pricier, but really worth it! Styled like an old Georgian apartment. Very authentic. Try the trout — unusual presentation, excellent flavor. For dessert: meringue cake. If you're a fan of meringue, you’ll love it. And the coffee? It’s hit or miss… but if you get a good one, let us know — coffee is their weak spot! ;)
360 Sky Bar — Come here for the romance! High up, beautiful, and atmospheric. A stunning view of Batumi at night.
Bus Stop — A trendy spot. Music, vibes, amazing cocktails in front of a vintage red bus and planes taking off in the background. Your Instagram will blow up!
Wineshop “Winery Khareba” — The word “Khareba” (ხარება) in Georgian means “Good News,” and in the restaurant world it means joy, warmth, and hospitality. Visit for the draft wine straight from the barrel. Our European guests are always shocked — How can such "divine wine" cost only three to five euros?!
Fish Market — Want the "fish of the day"? Come here. They’ll clean and cook freshly caught fish right in front of you. Bonus: lots of local flavor.
Adjaria Wine House — Looking forfull immersion? This spot has its all: a winery winery, restaurant with beautiful grounds, wine cellar, shop, wine museum, and of course, tastings. It’s not close, but it’s worth the trip!
Manufactory1993 — Tired of khinkali and khachapuri? This place is a breath of fresh air — free from Georgian cuisine. Loft style, European dishes with a signature twist, and good coffee. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Don’t miss the warm liver salad — it’s a standout!!
Dona — The best pastry shop in town. Simply unmatched. No further comment needed.
Shawarma King — Perfect for a quick bite. There are many places like this in Batumi now, but this one was one of the first. Thanks to its great location, cleanliness, and quality, it quickly became popular and has stayed that way. A word of caution: the XL size is huge! If you manage to finish one solo — come show us. Who are you, the warrior?
Gelegurdani — This is a “secret place.” Only a few locals know about it—and now you do too :) A fantastic nature-side restaurant in the forest by the mountain river Jokhatskali, near the underground (yes, *underground*!) airfield on the Turkish border. Everything is delicious! And the trout you catch and grill yourself? Unbeatable.
Meama at the sea – A stylish beach bar from the Meama coffee brand. Especially magical at night. Sip a unique cocktail… stargaze… listen to the sea… dance under a futuristic white dome blowing in the wind to some great music… That’s it. She’s yours.

Most apartments come with a full-size refrigerator with a freezer compartment (around 300 liters). Some have a compact built-in fridge (about 40 liters), also with a small freezer. It’s convenient if you don’t plan to cook much.

Parking Options

We offer three convenient parking options—choose the one that best suits your needs:

• Street Parking (P-1): Located directly in front of the hotel. Free of charge.
• Secured Hotel Parking – Off-site (P-2): A secure parking area just a 2-minute walk from the hotel. 10 GEL per day.
• Secured On-site Hotel Parking (P-3): Located within the hotel premises. 20 GEL per day.

Here’s a list of tried-and-true destinations—some just minutes away (5–50 km from Chakvi), others a bit farther but well worth the trip. Save it, share it, use it—and thank us later.

For Nature Lovers, Hikers & “Wow” Seekers:

• Batumi Botanical Garden – Super close. You can walk. But if you prefer to take it easy, here’s a tip from a local: grab a taxi to the Upper Entrance — very few people know about it. That way, the entire walk is downhill — perfect if you’re with kids or parents. Inside you’ll find Australia, Japan, palm trees, the sea, and a vibe that honestly heals.
• Mtirala National Park – Think subtropics, mist, moss, waterfalls, and air so pure it could be bottled. Take a dip in a mountain river, stand under a waterfall, zip-line through the trees. Still bored? Fine—go full commando on an ATV, armed (yes, really) with an AK-47, M16, or something even more dramatic. Then wind down with freshly grilled trout from a mountain stream (cooked, we hope). Mission: accomplished.
• Kinchkha (Kintirshi) National Park – Silence, trees, the sound of the river—and best of all, no crowds. Ideal if you just want to be in the woods, no interruptions. Phones don’t work here, and that’s the best feature. Forest. Peace. Zen.
• Shekvetili Dendrological Park – Clean, calm, pretty. Perfect for families or anyone wanting a peaceful stroll without hiking boots. Exotic trees, birds, benches—and no stress.

For the “I want water, cliffs, and something epic!” crowd:

• Martvili Canyon – It honestly looks photoshopped. Ride a boat on emerald water, pass waterfalls, and get that photo by the bridge. Pro tip: go early, before the crowds show up.
• Okatse Canyon – Yep, that terrifying bridge over the abyss. Scared folks clutch the rails. Brave folks also clutch the rails—but while filming for Instagram. Bonus: natural hot springs along the way. Totally free and 100% real.

For history buffs and meaning-seekers:

• Petra Fortress – Ruins on a seaside cliff. Wind in your face. Legends, Byzantines, ancient vibes—just the way we like it. Feels epic, looks even better.
• Svaneti – Far? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. If you’ve got at least a day (ideally two or three), get in the car and go. You’ll hit another side of the Caucasus: ancient towers, snowy peaks, pure drama. Selfies will look straight out of Game of Thrones or Highlander.
• Kazbegi – Very far and very worth it. It's the heart and the soul of the country. If you haven't seen Kazbegi, you haven't seen Georgia. Plan at least 3–5 days with an overnight stay. But oh boy—it’s Georgia in full IMAX. Mount Kazbek, glaciers, and that postcard-famous church on the hill. And somewhere in your head, you might hear Vysotsky whispering: “Better than mountains… are only mountains you haven’t climbed yet.”

For kids (and adults who admit they like to have fun):

• Tsitsinatela Amusement Park – Rides, lights, music, cotton candy. Kids are over the moon. Adults? Quietly nostalgic. Ferris wheels, hip-hop beats, and donuts—just like a 1990s funfair… only updated for 2020s now.
• Georgia in Miniature Park – All of Georgia’s top landmarks, but tiny. Like LEGO meets sightseeing. A full country tour without the driving. Super cute, super Instagrammable. Kids love it. Adults pretend they’re just “chaperoning.”

We offer a modern, compact baby crib that also transforms into a playpen. Suitable for children up to 2 years old and doesn’t take up much space in the room. Rental cost – 20 GEL per day.

We also have a larger crib for children aged 2 to 4. Rental cost – 30 GEL per day.

Each crib comes with bedding: a sheet, pillow with pillowcase, blanket, and duvet cover.

Some apartments also feature a fold-out armchair bed — free of charge.

We welcome guests with dogs in certain designated apartments — please check with us when booking. For hygiene and allergy reasons, we do not accommodate guests with cats.

There is no fee for bringing a dog, but a deep cleaning fee applies (60–100 GEL depending on apartment category). Additionally, a refundable deposit of $100 is required, which will be returned at checkout if there’s no damage caused by the pet.

Yes, and the final cleaning after checkout is included in the price.

You can also order additional services:

Here are a few standard ways to reach us:

✈️ Airports:

• Batumi – the closest one, just 30–45 minutes from the hotel. You can check the available flights on the airport’s website.
• Kutaisi – about 2 hours away, usually offers offering affordable flights thanks to Wizzair.
• Tbilisi – more airlines fly here. It’s a good option if you want to see more of Georgia. From Tbilisi, there’s a high-speed train to Batumi (about 4.5 hours), and then it’s just 10–15 minutes by taxi to us from the station.

🚌 Via Turkey:
You can fly through Istanbul to Trabzon or Rize, and then take a bus or taxi to the hotel. This is especially convenient if you’re planning some shopping, for example in Trabzon. From Rize to Batumi it’s about 4–5 hours by bus (depending a lot on the border crossing time) and costs around 15–20 euros.

🚗 By car from Russia via Verkhny Lars
It’s about 7–8 hours from the border (or you can make a stop in Tbilisi).
You can view the route on Google Maps. And in this chat Verkhny Lars, you can find up-to-date information about whether the border crossing is open or closed, as well as many other useful updates.

Hotels along the route to and beyond the border:

• Before the Russia/Georgia border, a convenient place to stop is the Mini-Hotel "Magistral". It offers a good price/quality ratio. The main advantage is that it’s close to the border crossing. It’s convenient if you need to wait while the border is closed. You can leave your car in the queue and stay comfortably at the hotel.
• After crossing the border — we recommend the hotel "Sno Kazbegi" (სასტუმრო სნო ყაზბეგი) in the village of Sno, known for its mineral water and a few tourist attractions. It’s not far from the main route. The hotel is modern and very comfortable. Also a great value for the money.
• Another great option for your first night abroad — if you want to treat yourself and set a luxurious tone for your whole trip — is the five-star Hotel Rooms. It’s expensive and high-end, but very stylish, tasteful, and exceptionally comfortable.
• If time or budget doesn’t allow for an overnight stay, it’s still worth stopping by — even briefly — to enjoy a coffee on the restaurant terrace. The views of Mount Kazbek from there are truly cinematic!
• A good overnight stop on the way is in Tbilisi — for example, Qstay Gratus Tbilisi. It’s a very pleasant small hotel — modern and comfortable. Not in the city center (so it’s affordable), but still close — about 20 minutes on foot or 5–7 minutes by car. Free parking and Wi-Fi. Plus, the room rate includes unlimited tea, coffee, and excellent Kindzmarauli wine!

Yes, basic essentials are provided—although renting an apartment is more like renting a home than booking a hotel room. But we’ve made sure you’ll feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.

Upon check-in, your apartment will be stocked with basic essential items to help you settle in and start enjoying your stay right away:

• Toilet paper
• Soap and shower gel
• Shampoo
• Disposable adult slippers
• Laundry detergent
• Dishwashing liquid
• New sponges
• Trash bags

These items are provided for the first days of your stay. Everything you need to get started is already in the apartment!

Exchanging currency in Georgia is very easy.

You can do it either at a bank or at a currency exchange office. In Batumi, there are plenty of both. For example, at the beginning of Chavchavadze Street, not far from the lower station of the cable car, there’s a whole “local Wall Street” lined with exchange offices. There is also a currency exchange office in the center of Chakvi (landmark — Aversi pharmacy).

You can easily exchange US dollars and euros, as well as some other currencies. In most exchange offices, there is no need to present a passport.

By the way, in Georgia, foreigners can open a bank account even without a residence permit. This is especially relevant for many, considering that Georgia is not a participant in the CRS (Common Reporting Standard) — an international system for exchanging tax information between countries about foreign bank accounts.

Spoiler alert: the weather will be good.
But with... nuances. Read carefully — it might come in handy!

Weather is a moody lady. Especially in the subtropics. And especially here in Chakvi, where the sea and the mountains are like two Georgians at a grill, having an eternal meteorological debate:
— “Come on, let’s turn up the heat!”
— “No problemo! But first, let’s add a little rain…”

What does that mean in practice?
Sun? Yes. Rain? Also yes. Sometimes both — in the same day. Or even the same hour. In other words: expect surprises.

Why does this happen?
Because you’re heading to a unique spot: nestled between the warm Black Sea and the cool green mountains of Adjara. Warm air rises from the sea, meets chilly mountain breezes — and boom, tropical rain. Or sometimes, out of nowhere, sunshine in the middle of a rainy forecast.

For the data lovers out there, here are some numbers:

• Winter: +6 to +8 °C. Rain? Sure. But also over 160 hours of sunshine.
• Spring: +12 to +20°C. Less rain, brighter moods. May is especially sunny.
• Summer: +24 to +34°C. Yes, it’s humid. But not oppressive. The sea breeze keeps things fresh. Showers are short and sweet.
• Autumn: +13 to +25°C. Golden season. Lots of sunshine, little rain. Absolute bliss until November.

That’s the average. But as you’ve probably guessed by now — “average” here is just a suggestion.

And remember the golden rule: trust no one (except us!).
If your go-to weather app shows five raindrops, don’t panic. That probably just means it’ll rain somewhere in the mountains. Meanwhile, you’ll be basking under the sun, capturing an Instagram-worthy sunset. Here, it’s totally normal for the screen to show clouds while you’re getting a tan.

So what’s the takeaway?
The weather here is like Georgian cuisine — a little of everything, generous, and always satisfying. Even the rain knows its limits. And the air? Fresh, salty, full of oxygen. Think free spa treatments — just by breathing.

So yes — the weather will be good.
Just don’t forget to pack:
